How do I customize the payment buttons in the POS? [Ebriza POS NEXT]

Customize up to 3 quick payment buttons directly from the POS app.

Written by Iulia

By default, the app sets 3 out of the 3 available buttons:

  • cash

  • card

  • note (non-fiscal bill)

The good news is that you can choose exactly how many buttons you want there (one, two, or up to three) and which payment methods each button should have.

Attention! This setting is applied per POS device, not at the Ebriza account level!

What do you need to do?

  • Open the POS menu in the bottom-right corner.

  • Go to Settings → in the Order and receipt configuration section, you’ll find the option Quick payment buttons.

  • From there, you can set the order of the payment buttons.

How the buttons look: Cash and Card are colour-coded

On the bill, the Cash button is green and the Card button is purple. Their icon and label stay white. The colours are fixed — there is no setting for them and they cannot be switched off. They are the same in both the light and dark themes.

Only these two payment methods are coloured. Every other quick button you configure — note, gift voucher, meal tickets, bank transfer and the rest — keeps the neutral background it has today.

  • The colour only applies to the quick buttons on the bill. In the list opened from the ⋮ menu (Pay with other methods), all methods stay neutral. So, if you have not set Cash or Card as a quick button and pick them from that list, they appear there uncoloured.

  • Nothing else changes: the same buttons, the same order and the same payment flow when you tap them.

Exception: bills with a pre-declared payment method

If the bill was opened from an order that already carries a payment method — for example an adhoc order paid online through Virament (bank transfer) or another partner service — the quick-payment buttons configured on the device are temporarily replaced, for that bill only, with a single primary button matching the pre-declared payment method. A bill that was already paid online via Virament will therefore show a single "Bank Transfer" button, not Cash / Card / Note.

The other payment methods stay available in the "⋮" (more) menu next to the button, if a manual override is ever needed. For regular bills opened directly on the POS, your configured quick buttons appear as usual.
