How to install a Datecs fiscal cash register

CONNECTION:

The cash registers are connected directly to the router using a network cable. Afterwards, connect the device to the same internet network to which the cash register is connected.

COMPATIBLE MODELS:

The following Datecs fiscal cash register models do not require driver installation and are fully integrated with Ebriza:

  • Datecs DP-150

  • Datecs DP-25

  • Datecs WP-500

CONFIGURATION:

The cash register must be set to PC Connection mode, and LAN mode must be selected in order for it to be recognized on the network.

To access and configure the printer settings, follow the steps below:

  • Press the ON button.

  • Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate the menu until you reach Programming mode, then press Total.

  • Enter the fiscal printer password provided by the supplier and press Total.

  • Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Configuration mode, then press Total.

  • Navigate to Communication mode and press Total.

  • Navigate to PC Connection mode and press Total.

  • The printer display should show LAN.

  • Press Total twice to save the changes.

  • Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to LAN mode, then press Total.

  • The DHCP option must be enabled. The display should show “YES”.

  • Press Total twice to save the changes.

  • As a final step, return to PC Connection mode from the main menu so that the fiscal printer is set to sales mode.

INSTALLATION:

To install the fiscal cash register, follow the steps below:

  1. From the bottom of the application, select Devices.

In the upper-left section, you will find Printers and peripherals.

2. Click on “Add peripheral” in the upper-right corner.

3. Select the model you want to install.

4. The application will search for the printer on the network based on its IP address.

5. Once it is detected, click on the displayed result, which should be the IP address of the fiscal printer.

6. Name the printer and select the rooms (if you have multiple fiscal printers), then save the changes.
