In order to print an X report from Ebriza, all you need to do is to go to the Printers tab in the POS, long press on the fiscal printer and select "Report X".
From the POS, go to Devices and from the three dots on the right side of the printer, choose “X Report.”
What does CONTOR ZILE on the X report mean?
On the X report, the cash register prints a CONTOR ZILE section, with the line ZIUA FISCALĂ NUMĂRUL. This is the current fiscal day number on that device and increases by 1 each time a Z report is closed on the cash register, regardless of whether the Z was requested from Ebriza or directly from the cash register's keyboard. Can I use the X report to check differences between Ebriza and the cash register?
No. The X report shows a snapshot of the fiscal day that is still open and does not close the day. While you keep selling, its figures change with every receipt, so any comparison with Ebriza made on an X report gives a different result every time you check. Differences are checked only against the Z report, after you print it at the end of the day. The steps are in the article "How can I print the Z report from Ebriza? Can I use the X report to check that the tablet communicates with the cash register?
Yes. It is the recommended way to test the connection between the tablet and the cash register without issuing a fiscal receipt: the X report does not close the day and does not affect sales. Print it from the tablet you want to check; if it comes out of the cash register, the tablet is communicating with it. Ebriza POS NEXT has no “Test Print” button for the cash register. If you want to see which cash register a particular tablet prints to, the only way is a real receipt, which you then cancel (with a cancellation report if it was fiscalized).
