If a customer wants to pay part of the amount by card and the rest in cash (or by bank transfer or meal vouchers), you can split the AMOUNT of the bill between payment methods, without selecting or moving any products. A single fiscal receipt is issued, with the amounts exactly as you enter them.
To issue a receipt with multiple payment methods, just follow the steps below:
Select the table and click the Options button (the circle with three dots).
2. From here, you need to select Pay with other methods
3. In the window that opens, select the Multiple Payment Methods option, then enter the amounts in the payment method columns (Cash, Card and, if enabled, Bank transfer / Meal vouchers). The remaining amount to pay is recalculated automatically as you type.
The last step is to save your changes by clicking the blue button at the bottom of the window.
The Multiple Payment Methods option does not need to be enabled in any setting. If you have set it as a quick payment button, you will find it directly at the bottom of the screen, next to Cash / Card.
Note: Split / Partial payment is a different feature — there you split the order by products (each part gets its own products and is paid separately). If you have a Bluetooth barcode scanner connected to the iPad and the keyboard does not open when you tap the amount field, the cause is an iOS setting: while a Bluetooth keyboard is connected — and the scanner is recognized as a keyboard — iOS no longer displays the on-screen keyboard.
