A customer statement (also referred to as a partner account statement or statement of account) is an accounting document that includes all invoices issued by Ebriza Software to your company, the recorded payments, and the resulting balance. Accounting departments typically use it for payment reconciliation, account reconciliation, or month-end or year-end closing.
Who can issue the customer statement?
The customer statement can only be issued by the Ebriza Software accounting department. The document is not generated in the application and cannot be downloaded from your Ebriza account.
How do you request it?
Write to us via the support chat in your Ebriza account or through help.ebriza.com and let us know the period for which you need the customer statement. The request is handled by the support team and forwarded to the accounting department, which prepares the document.
Why doesn't the invoice list in the account replace it?
From Account Settings → Billing → Invoice section, you can download the invoices issued by Ebriza to your company and the details for each invoice at any time. However, this list is not a customer statement: it does not include recorded payments or the account balance, so it cannot replace the accounting document.
Be careful not to confuse them
The “customer statement” referred to in this article concerns the relationship between your company and Ebriza Software. If you need the account statement of one of your own customers (from your Customers database) or the invoices you have issued to your customers, these can be obtained from your account — see the article “Invoices Issued per Customer Report”.
