When This Applies?
This applies if you experienced a power outage, a voltage drop, an internet interruption, or a router restart, and since then, orders from delivery platforms (Glovo, Bolt Food, Wolt, Tazz, and others) no longer appear on the tablet, appear with a delay of a few minutes, or a specific order is missing from the Deliveries screen even though the platform shows it as sent.
Why This Happens?
The Ebriza POS application maintains a permanent connection with our servers, through which new orders are pushed to the tablet as soon as they come in. After a power or network interruption, this connection can become stuck: the tablet comes back online and everything appears to be working normally, but the old connection is no longer receiving anything. As a result, an order that has reached Ebriza may not automatically appear on the screen.
This is why the tablet may show that it is connected, while the order exists on our side and the Deliveries screen is still empty.
What to Do?
Completely close the Ebriza POS application on the tablet that is not receiving the orders. It is not enough to minimize the app or exit it. Open the list of recent apps and remove Ebriza from it as well, so that it is no longer running in the background.
Open the application again. When the app is reopened, the synchronization connection with the server is restored, and any orders received in the meantime should appear on the Deliveries screen.
Check the “Closed” tab in the Deliveries screen as well. An order received while the connection was stuck may already be there — for example, if it was cancelled by the delivery platform in the meantime — so you may not find it in the active orders list.
If you have multiple tablets at the location, restart the application on each tablet that is not receiving orders. The connection is established per device, not per account.
Important!
Do not uninstall the application. Restarting the app does not cause any data loss, but uninstalling it may result in the permanent loss of receipts that have not yet been synchronized with the server.
If the Order Still Does Not Appear After Restarting
Contact us and provide the order number from the delivery platform and the approximate time when it was placed, so we can check that specific order.
