Ebriza promotions and delivery platforms

Why don't promotions configured in Marketing appear on Glovo, Wolt, or Bolt Food, and what should you use instead?

Written by Andreea Lazar

Promotions from the Marketing application apply to receipts issued in the POS. They are not sent to Glovo, Wolt, or Bolt Food, and the discounts you see in the delivery apps are platform-specific promotions configured in their respective dashboards.

What do you use for delivery orders?

Different prices for delivery orders — see the article Preferential pricing for delivery platforms. This is where you set the price that is sent to each channel.

Platform promotions — these are configured in the Glovo, Wolt, or Bolt Food dashboard and are applied to the order as an already-calculated discount.

Differences in totals:

If the total in the delivery app does not match the total on the fiscal receipt, the cause is usually a difference between the menu price on the platform and the price in Ebriza. See the article The total in the delivery app differs from the total on the fiscal receipt.

There is also a second, less common case: if the customer paid part of the order using a platform voucher or credit, the amount sent for collection has already been reduced, and that discount does not reach us as a discount line on the receipt. In this case, the courier brings less than the receipt total, even though the prices match. This case is covered in the same article, in the section about the courier bringing less than the receipt total.
