If you want to know which products contain a certain raw material or merchandise item — for example, before changing its price, removing it from the menu, or deleting it — Ebriza gives you the complete list directly from the Product Catalog. You don't need any special report and you don't have to ask Support for the information.
Steps:
Log in to your administration account and go to Product Catalog - Products.
In the search bar at the top of the list, type the name of the raw material or merchandise item.
In the list that opens below the search bar, select the item from the Recipe product group. Be careful not to select it from the Name group — this is where products are searched, not inventory items. You can recognize the inventory item by the way it is displayed, Name (Type), for example Flour (Raw material).
The list of products remaining on the screen is the answer: exactly the products whose recipe contains that item. The filter works the same way for merchandise, consumables, and packaging, not just for raw materials.
Important: if you select two items in the same Recipe product group, they are combined with OR, not AND. You will see the products that contain at least one of the two items, not only the products that contain both.
Raw materials used in sub-recipes
The filter above only looks at the product's recipe. A raw material used only in the sub-recipe of a semi-finished product — for example, flour that goes into Dough, while Dough goes into the final product — will not appear in that list, even though it ultimately ends up in the dish.
For this level, go to Inventory - Stock, use the same search bar, and select the item from the Sub-recipe ingredients group. The list shows you the inventory items in whose sub-recipe it is used. Then search for the semi-finished products you found there using the Recipe product filter in Product Catalog - Products, to reach the final products as well.
Quick check, without using a filter
In Inventory - Stock, if you hover over the type label on the item's row, a short message appears: “The raw material is included in the recipes of the following products: ..." (for merchandise: “The merchandise is deducted through the product ..."), or “The raw material is not included in any recipe in the product catalog." if it is not used anywhere.
This message only shows the first two names; the rest appear as “+N". It is a quick indication, not the complete list — for the full list, use the Recipe product filter in Product Catalog - Products. An item that is not included in any recipe appears with a dotted border in the list.
For the opposite question — “which items do I have that are not used in any recipe" — also in Inventory - Stock, the Type filter has the options Used in recipes only and Not used in recipes.
What not to do:
Do not open the item's deletion window just to read the refusal message that lists the products. That message is a protection, not a report: if the item is actually not used in any recipe and its stock is zero, the deletion will succeed and you will lose the item.
