If your order receipts / payment notes are not printed on the non-fiscal printer, you will need to check the following:
1. Check that the non-fiscal printer is connected to the network through the LAN cable and turned on.
2. Check if the printer is green or red in Ebriza. You can use the following steps for this:
a. From POS, click on the 4 lines on the top left and select "Printers and devices".
b. If the printer is red, check that the printer IP is the same as the computer / tablet IP.
Click here to see how you can find out your computer's IP. To see the tablet / phone IP, click here.
3. If the 2 IP addresses are different, there are 2 options
The device is not connected to the same network that the non-fiscal printer is connected to, so they must be connected to the same network.
The printer does not communicate with the router or Ebriza. You can shut down and restart the printer or router. If the printer does not turn green, you need to delete the printer (press and hold it, then select the 'Delete' option) and follow the steps to install the non-fiscal printer.
What you need to keep in mind is that the first 3 sets of digits (separated by a dot) are identical.
Example: Tablet IP: 192.168.0.101, and Computer IP: 192.168.0.112 - the devices are on the same network;
Tablet IP: 192.168.1.101 and computer IP: 192.168.0.112 - the devices are not in the same network.
4. If the printer is green in Ebriza, click "Edit" and see if the printer is set to print only from a certain room or only certain tags. If you want to be able to print from all rooms and regardless of the tag, you have to delete the tag and deselect the rooms. Also, make sure that those tags exist in Ebriza and are set to products.
5. Create a text document (notepad) in which you write "test" and try to print it on the non-fiscal printer.
6. Access the "Printers and Scanners" setting in Windows and try to print a test page.
Select the non-fiscal printer.
Click on "Print a test page" or "Printer properties" and then on "Print test page"
Other possible troubleshooting steps for Epson non-fiscal printers (in this case TM-T20):
Verify that the non-fiscal printer and the computer on which the POSPrinter is installed are on the same network. To do this, you will need to find out what the computer's IP is and what the printer's IP is. To find out the printer's IP, you'll need to hold down the button on the back of the printer for a few seconds and check the print report:
All you have to do is make sure that the first 3 sets of digits are the same on your computer and printer (in this case 192.168.0.101). You should also check that the Subnet Mask and Default Gateway are the same. If they are different, please follow the steps in Setting the Non-Fiscal Printer IP.
2. Verify that the printer IP responds to a ping sent by the computer:
a. Click on search, type "cmd" and select "Command Prompt"
b. Type "ping 192.168.0.101" (be sure to enter the IP of your non-fiscal printer). If the printer is not connected to the network, the result will be as follows.
If the printer is connected to the network, the result will look like this:
