How do I edit my company data?

Written by Andrei

If you want to edit your company data, follow these steps:

1. After logging into your Ebriza account, go to the Account Settings menu item.

2. Choose the Company page.

3. Next to Details is the Edit button. Press this button.

4. You can now edit your company data. Don't forget to click the Save button before exiting this page.

If you change the company's CUI and you previously authorized Ebriza in SPV for the old CUI, that authorization remains in the account and will appear marked as [orphan] in the e-Invoice settings window (Sales or Costs menu, Set button). Ebriza no longer automatically synchronizes invoices for it, but it is recommended that you delete it from there. You will also need to authorize Ebriza in SPV for the new CUI.

What appears on invoices after changing the company details

The company details on an invoice (name, Tax ID, address, bank, IBAN, share capital) are read from Account Settings when the PDF document is generated. They are not frozen as of the invoice date. Specifically:

  • Any invoice issued from now on will display the new details.

  • An invoice issued now but dated in the past, before the change, will ALSO display the new details. The date entered on the document does not restore the company's old details. (The invoice date can only be selected for an order created manually from Sales — see the article "Issuing and voiding an invoice from the Sales menu".)

  • If you download the PDF of an older invoice again now, it is regenerated and will also display the new details. The copy you have already sent to the customer and the XML file already uploaded to S.P.V. retain the details from that time — only the copy you download from Ebriza from now on will change. If you need a copy with the old details, use the one sent to the customer or the one from S.P.V.

  • The CLIENT data on the invoice works differently: it is not taken from the client's record at the moment of download, but from the client data saved on the order when the invoice was issued. That is why, if you change the client's record from the Clients menu, the invoice already issued keeps the old data — the correction applies only to future documents. To correct the client data on the issued invoice itself, use the Edit link in the Client section of the order: it rewrites exactly the data saved on the order, and the invoice comes out corrected, with the same series and the same number. Voiding the invoice is only necessary if the invoice has already been uploaded successfully to S.P.V. The steps are in the article "Issuing and voiding an invoice from the Sales menu", at the question "I issued the invoice to the wrong company/client or I got the VAT number, the name or the address wrong. How do I correct it?".

  • Exception: the "Work point" line on the invoice uses the location address as it was on the order date. If you have a franchise location with its own fiscal details configured, the entire supplier information block is taken from that location, not from Account Settings.
