How do I make a transfer between locations?

Written by Andrei
  • The transfer note is the document who certify the transfer from one stock management of the goods to another.

  • Waybill is the document certifying the transfer from one management to another of the goods between two different physical locations; for example when it is necessary to transport goods by car.

  1. Access the "Management - Stocks" menu item and check the stock for the transfer.

  2. Select Stock Transfer from the menu on the right:

  • Check one of the transfer note or waybill boxes

  • Fill in the transfer date, the destination location and enter the quantity of goods you want to transfer in the transferred value field.

  • Save

3. The waybill or transfer note is automatically generated:

  • the waybill and note can be printed or downloaded in PDF from the three dots in the top right corner.

4. If you have chosen to transfer without a document, then the software will only transfer the goods without issuing any documents.

5. Any transfer can be edited from Stock Management - History

6. How to see both locations of a transfer on the same row

In Stock Management - History a transfer appears as two separate movements: a Transfer out on the

source location and a Transfer in on the destination location, each row showing only its own

location.

If you have the Insights app and want to see where the goods left from and where they arrived on the

same row, write to us: we will add the Source location and Destination location columns to your

stock-movement report.
