The Bolt app from Ebriza is an integration with the Bolt food platform, which allows you to receive and administer your Bolt food orders directly from the Ebriza POS app, without having to use the Bolt food tablet.

  1. CONFIGURATION:

  • Create an account on the Bolt food platform.

  • Install the Boltfood app from the Ebriza Marketplace.

2. SYNC PRODUCTS

In order to synchronize the products from your Ebriza account with the Bolt food platform, please follow these steps:

  • Create a new product configuration from the Configuration tab - Product display section, adding the categories and the products that you want to have on Bolt food.

  • IMAGES FOR PRODUCTS: If the products from your Ebriza account have images, they will also be imported on the Bolt food platform.

  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The products' descriptions written in the Short description section from the product's editing page in Ebriza will be imported on Bolt food, as well.

  • PRODUCT TAGS: If the products in the menu you want to be displayed with the following information (spicy / vegan / vegetarian, etc.) the products in the BoltFood configuration must contain the following tags:

    Spicy: ''spicy'', ''spicy1'', ''spicy2'' , ''spicy3'' depending on how spicy the product is.

    Vegan: "vegan"

    Vegetarian: "vegetarian''

    Kosher: "kosher"

    Halal: "halal"

    Gluten free: ''gluten_free"

    Lactose free: ''lactose_free''

    Alcool: "Alco''

    Special_offer: If you have discount on a product

    • EXTRA OPTIONS

      If you offer extra options for certain products, or if you have packages that contain multiple product options (combos, menus, etc.), you need to configure them from the Modifiers section, and they will appear exactly the same on Bolt food.

      Example:

      You have the product Burger + Crispy Fries configured as a modifier - source product, and to this you can add extra toppings, which you created as products in Ebriza and added as options to the modifier, but you don't want them to appear as separate products.

      For this, you need to have ONLY Burger + Crispy Fries in the Product Display, because you have added the toppings in the modifier options and they will appear there automatically.

      Once you're done setting the configuration up, you can make it "Inactive" so it doesn't interfere with the configuration on your POS.

  • Find the Bolt app in your Ebriza account on the left under Applications.

  • Once you access the application, you will notice a Brand Settings. Click on it.

  • A new window will open up where you will have to choose your Bolt food Brand name and the Product configuration that contains your Bolt food menu.

4. INTEGRATION

The last step to finalize the Bolt food integration is to communicate to the Ebriza support team that you want to activate the Bolt food integration, alongside the restaurant's details (brand name, address).

5. UTILIZATION

a. Open the Ebriza POS at the delivery room. (automatically created when the first external command entered into Ebriza, after activating the integration).

b. As soon as an order is placed on Bolt food, it will appear directly in the POS.

In the delivery room you will be able to see the orders received and you will be able to follow them according to the status:

  • The red ones (and marked in yellow) are the newly entered orders, which have not yet been processed.

  • The blue ones were accepted, the operator entered the order and confirmed it.

  • The green ones have already been sent to the kitchen and are being prepared.

When the order is ready for delivery, click on the "Show only paid orders" button and click on the order that has just been completed. From here you will choose the new status of the order "Delivery order" / "Order completed".

Warning!

A newly entered order must be accepted within 8 minutes MAX, otherwise your Boltfood restaurant will no longer accept orders until you manually activate it again.

c. When a PICK-UP order is picked up by the customer, you have to click on the Show only paid orders section and choose the Order Picked-up status after clicking on the order.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Show only paid orders button.

2. Click on the order that just was picked up by the customer and change its status.

3. Then, your order will be saved with the new Picked-up status.

d. In case you have one or more products that cannot be ordered anymore for any reason, you can set them as out of stock form the Ebriza POS app.

Follow these steps:

  • Long press on the desired out of stock product and select Stock Availability.

  • Change the product's status from "In stock" to "Not available". It will be unavailable until tomorrow.
