How can I legally operate when having techincal issues with the cash register?

If, due to a malfunction of the cash register, or a temporary error of the POS software - Ebriza, you can no longer print fiscal receipts, according to the legislation in force in Romania, for 72 working hours, you have the right to sell without issuing a fiscal receipt, if you meet the following conditions:

  • you can prove that you notified the representatives of the companies responsible for troubleshooting the cash register or POS software, about the problem, and you have confirmation from them that they are working on solving the problem.

  • at the end of the program, you register in the Receipts and Payments Journal Register, an invoice issued by your SRL (company) to your SRL, containing the total value of cash and card sales (attach the settlement from the bank POS .)

    Only one value is recorded, of the total receipts for that day, without the need to record the value of each tax receipt separately on the invoice.

  • if you issue any fiscal invoices, you note these sales separately from the total sales, in the Receipts and Payments Journal Register.

So, if an error or any technical problem prevents you from issuing the receipt, you can sell without worries, and please let us know as soon as possible so that, within 72 hours at most, we can fix the problem.
