Now you can add the tip to the bill and the receipt.

In the POS application, you can find the tip button next to the quick discount button, under the total amount to be paid:

  • You can select the tip as a percentage or a fixed amount.

  • If you have added discounts to the bill, the tip is added to the subtotal calculated after applying the discounts.

NEW! --> Now you can customize the tip percentages in POS Settings - Receipt Settings.

NEW! --> We have added the bill button next to the two buttons, Cash and Card!

  • See here how you can customize the 3 payment buttons!

  • You can quickly print the bill before issuing the fiscal receipt.

  • The bill now has a dedicated tip space where customers can note how much tip they want to add to the receipt:

Reports

General rule: Ebriza reports DO NOT include tips as they are not considered sales, but only receipts. However, there are some exceptions due to the fact that certain reports, by their nature, must match 1 to 1 with the Z report printed on the cash register, which includes the tip:

  • Cash Register Log - all amounts in the Cash Register Log will include tips

  • POS Sales Report - includes new sections for tips, and wherever tips are included, this is mentioned in the column title

  • Total POS Receipts Report from the Reports menu, Sales category

  • Payment Methods and Cash Registers Report from the Reports menu, Sales category

  • Monetary Report from the Reports menu, Accounting category

Additionally, we have added two new reports: Tips and Tips by Payment Methods and Users.

ATTENTION! Insights users will contact the support team to exclude the tip from the reports they already have configured in their account.
