Everything You Need to Know to Integrate Bolt Dine-In with Ebriza

Written by Eva

Bolt Dine-In is a self-order service that allows customers to order directly from their table by accessing a QR code.

After signing the contract with Bolt for this service, you can opt for its integration with the Ebriza POS - orders will be sent directly to your Ebriza tablet.

Bolt Dine-In has two possible operational scenarios:

  • Order & Pay: The customer scans the QR code and places an order, which they pay for immediately (no additional products can be added later).

  • Pay & Go: The customer scans the QR code and opens a table, allowing them to add products in multiple instances and request the bill at a later time.

Order & Pay

  1. Sign the contract with Bolt: You gain access to the Bolt administration portal.

  2. Install Bolt Food in your Ebriza account: From the Marketplace.

  3. Request an integration ID: From the support team.

  4. Create the brand for Dine-In: In the Bolt Food application.

  5. Synchronize the menu: You need to select the product configuration that contains exactly the categories and products you want displayed to customers when they scan the QR code. (See here for how to create a new product configuration.)

  6. Ensure table configuration: In the Bolt portal (Menu - Tables), with exactly the same table number as in Ebriza.

  7. Activate integration: Bolt activates the integration (at Ebriza's request, after menu synchronization).

  8. Orders through QR code: Orders placed through the QR code are sent directly to the corresponding table in the Ebriza POS.

    • For a new order, the table turns yellow and the order receipt prints automatically. Enter the table to issue the fiscal receipt.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Have you implemented the option for customers to order directly using a QR code?

A: Yes, Ebriza has two integrated services that allow customers to order directly from the table by scanning a QR code:

  1. Adhoc — integration with the Adhoc service; orders placed via Adhoc enter the Ebriza POS directly. See the Adhoc article for configuration details.

  2. Bolt Dine-In — integration with the Bolt Dine-In service; orders arrive directly at the corresponding table in the Ebriza POS. Two operational scenarios: Order & Pay (the customer pays immediately) and Pay & Go (opens a table and requests the bill later). See the Bolt Dine-In article for details.

To choose between them, contact the Ebriza team for recommendations based on your activity type.
