To activate Counter Mode, go to Others → Settings.
From this window, access Counter service. Next to the row you will see an Activated or Deactivated pill that reflects the current state.
From here, all you need to do is enable the Enable counter mode switch.
Now you also have the option to display the change due for cash payments.
Inside the Options section on the same page you can decide what is shown when marking counter orders: Service mode dine-in or takeaway, Show cash back for cash payment, and Customer identifier. These options apply only to counter receipts; table receipts have their own independent options under Table service.
If you work only at the counter (counter mode enabled and table service disabled), the app opens directly on Counter every time it is launched or restarted, and the Tables section no longer appears in the bottom navigation bar. The POS always opens on the first section in the bottom navigation bar, depending on the active modes.
How the counter bill works
At the counter there is no table to leave and no session to close, so the flow is different from the one at tables. There is no intermediate step between adding a product and taking payment: there is no "send to preparation" button, no tick or OK that sends the order to the kitchen.
The order ticket goes to the printers a single time, when the bill is finalised, and at that point everything that was added goes out. If you exit the bill, only a local draft is saved — nothing is printed. Likewise, the arrow or the X in the top left and tapping the Counter tab again send nothing to the printer.
The three-dot menu on the counter bill contains: Add client / Tax ID (or Manage client / Tax ID), Apply Voucher (or Manage Voucher), Payment by other methods and Move consumption to protocol, plus the Cancel order button. The options on a table bill (People at table, Void, Split the bill, Move table to another user) do not appear here.
