Stock availability [Ebriza POS NEXT]

How do I manage inventory directly in Ebriza POS?

Written by Iulia

To always stay in control of your inventory, Ebriza allows you to manage product availability directly from the POS.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Other menu and select Stock Availability.

From this section, you can easily manage product availability. You can set a product as available or unavailable, enable or disable an entire category, set a limited quantity, or manage missing ingredients in your dishes — all in a simple and fast way.

2. Unavailable category

Unavailable category - you select a category, and a window then opens with the products in it, all selected. Deselect the products you want to remain available and confirm. This allows you to mark only part of a category as unavailable, rather than the entire category.

You can change which products are affected by the unavailability at any time: in Product Availability, on the category row, select Edit unavailable products. When you make the last product available again, the unavailability is removed.

  • Limited Quantity – You can set how much of a product is available. Once the set quantity runs out, the product will automatically be marked as unavailable.

You can also set the time period for which you want the limited quantity to apply.

  • Unavailable Product – You can select one or multiple products to mark as unavailable at the same time.

After selection, a window will open where you can choose the restaurants or delivery platforms for which you want to mark the products as unavailable. The information will be sent to the selected suppliers.

  • Unavailable Category – All products in the selected category will be marked as unavailable.

  • Unavailable Ingredient – This option allows you to mark an ingredient as unavailable. You can also select one or more products that contain that ingredient in their recipes.

Shortcut: directly from the product grid

You don't need to go through Product Availability every time. Press and hold a product in the receipt's product grid to see the actions available for it.

For an available product, you will see:

  • Mark as unavailable - opens the Add unavailable products screen directly, with the product already added to the list. Tap Save, select the restaurants and period, and the product becomes unavailable. You don't need to search for it again.

For a product that is already unavailable, you will see:

  • Mark as available - the product immediately becomes available again and you receive a confirmation message. You are not taken to another screen. If the product was unavailable through a category or an ingredient, only that product becomes available; the other products in the category or recipe remain unavailable.

  • Manage availability - opens the Restaurants affected by unavailability window directly, where you can choose which restaurants or delivery platforms the setting applies to.

For a product that is unavailable through a category or an ingredient, Manage availability takes you to Product Availability, with the relevant unavailability already selected. This is because the selected restaurants apply to all products covered by that unavailability, so the selection is made there, where you can see the entire list.
