Figures in the admin account don’t match or don’t update — check incognito first

Quickly check whether incorrect figures are caused by your browser cache.

Checking in an incognito window

If you see figures in your Ebriza admin account that don't match, appear outdated, or haven't been updated — whether in stock, inventory management, inventory counts, or reports — the most common cause is not an issue with your account, but an older version of the page stored by your browser. The check below takes 30 seconds and will help you determine whether this is the cause.

One exception: if goods are missing from stock after you created a NIR (a goods receipt), start by checking the document and the Stock History, not incognito mode — see the last point under “What this check does not resolve.”

  1. Open an incognito (private) browser window: Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome or Edge, Ctrl+Shift+P in Firefox.

  2. Log in to your Ebriza account from the incognito window.

  3. Open the same page and check the same figures that appeared incorrect before.

If the figures are correct in incognito

Then the issue is only with your browser cache, and your account is working correctly. Clear the cache in your regular browser window:

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.

  2. Under Time Range, select All time.

  3. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  4. Click Clear now.

  5. Reload the Ebriza page and log in again.

After clearing the cache, you will be logged out of Ebriza and other websites open in that browser — this is normal. Simply log in again.

If you see the same figures in incognito

Then the issue is not caused by the browser, so there is no need to clear the cache. Contact us via chat and let us know that you have already checked in incognito and what exactly doesn’t match (which page or report, what figure you see, and what you expected to see). We’ll check it directly in your account.

What this check does not resolve

  • Goods that do not appear in stock after a NIR (a goods receipt). This is a data issue, not a display issue: in the vast majority of cases, the quantity was not actually recorded because the invoice line was left empty in the Goods Receipt column or was received with a quantity of 0.

First, check the document and the entry in Inventory → History — the steps are available in the article Create Reception Entry Note, in the section “I created the NIR and the goods do not appear in stock — where to start.”

Only come back to the incognito check if the entry appears in History with the correct quantity and you still cannot see it in the stock list.

  • What you see on the tablet with the POS app. The browser cache has nothing to do with the app on the tablet. If incorrect figures appear there, contact us via chat.

  • Stock movements made just now. These are recorded by an automated process that runs periodically, so they may appear with a short delay — see the article “How are sales deducted from stock?”.

  • Error messages. If you receive an error or an operation fails, this is not a cache issue — send us the error message via chat.

  • Differences compared to the X or Z report from the cash register, as well as differences compared to the report received by email, which have their own separate explanations.
