The Wolt application is an integration with the Wolt platform that allows you to receive and manage your Wolt orders directly from your Ebriza POS, eliminating the need to use the Wolt tablet.
Note: To use the integration in our application, a prior contractual relationship with Wolt is required.
1. CONFIGURATION:
Create an account on the Wolt platform.
Install the Wolt application from the Ebriza Marketplace.
Go to the Applications section -> Wolt application -> Brand Settings -> Brand Settings.
Fill in the field for Brand by adding the restaurant's name.
You can use automatic order acceptance by toggling the option and setting a preparation time. This way, the orders will integrate with the "In preparation" status instead of the "New" status. The order receipt will be automatically sent to the printer or Kitchen Display Screen.
At the same time, you must also check these options in the Settings section -> Settings on the right.
If you use your own fleet of delivery drivers, you will need to create a "Delivery fee" product in both Ebriza and Wolt, which must have the SKU "delivery-fee" (worth 1.00 RON).
Click here for information on quickly creating new products.
Subsequently, to integrate the brand, go to the Brand Settings section, select "Add," and click the "Integrate your brand with Wolt" button.
The brand name must be written as a single word, without spaces.
The Wolt page will open, where you can select the brand you want to integrate with Ebriza. After making your selection, click "Authorize" to complete the integration.
2. PRODUCT SYNCHRONIZATION
Create a new configuration from the Product Directory - Product Configuration, including the categories and products you want to appear on the Wolt platform or that you have already saved there.
Click here for information on how to create a new configuration.
After completing the configuration, you can set it to Inactive so that it does not appear in the Ebriza POS app on the tablet.
EXTRA OPTIONS
If you offer additional options for certain products or packages with multiple options (combos, menus, etc.), you need to configure them in Ebriza under the Modifiers section. These will appear the same way in Wolt.
If you're not sure how to configure modifiers, click here for details.
For modifier options, the "max" field must be filled in mandatory.
Attention: For each product/extra option in Wolt, you must have an equivalent in Ebriza. All products must have preferential prices for platforms, unless you want them to be the same as in the physical location.
Example:
You have configured the American One product as a modifier - source product (see the article on creating modifiers).
Additional toppings can be added to it, created as products in Ebriza and added as options to the modifier. However, if you don’t want these toppings to appear as separate products, in the Product Configuration, you will only list the American One product, as the toppings will automatically appear in the modifier options.
Attention: Products must be saved in Ebriza with their full prices, without any discounts, as the discount will be applied from Wolt.
TO ENABLE PRODUCT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE TWO PLATFORMS, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Access the Wolt application in Ebriza - Brand Settings - Sync menu.
Select the brand (1) for which you want to sync the menu and the desired configuration (2).
Click "Start sync" (3).
Important notes:
PRODUCT IMAGES: If your products in Ebriza have images, they will also be imported into the Wolt platform. For details on importing product images in Ebriza, click here.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: If you want your products to have a short description on the Wolt platform, you can enter this description in the SHORT DESCRIPTION field on the detailed product editing page in Ebriza.
3. AUTHORIZATION RENEWAL (when orders stop coming in)
The authorization you completed during the setup process is valid for a limited period and may expire or be invalidated, even if the integration has worked correctly for months. Nothing changes visibly in Ebriza — the brand still appears configured exactly as before — but Wolt rejects communication with Ebriza, which means:
no new orders from Wolt come in for the respective brand;
statuses sent from Ebriza no longer reach Wolt;
the store may remain closed on Wolt, and you may no longer be able to reopen it from Ebriza.
If you have multiple brands or locations, usually only one of them is affected, while the others continue to receive orders normally at the same time.
Reauthorizing the brand renews the expired authorization, and you can do this yourself from the same place where you completed the initial authorization: Apps → Wolt app → Brand Settings → select the brand → “Integrate your brand with Wolt” → log in to your Wolt account, select the same brand, and click “Authorize.” Orders will start coming in again as soon as the authorization is successful.
After reauthorization, check on Wolt whether the store appears as open. If it is still closed, reopen it and place a test order. If orders still do not come in, contact us and provide the brand, location, and the day and time when the issue started.
Setup directly from Ebriza POS NEXT
Alternatively, on Ebriza POS NEXT, this setting can also be configured directly from the POS app, without accessing the web admin account:
Open the Deliveries section in Ebriza POS NEXT.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen (the More menu).
Select Auto-accept orders.
Select the restaurants for which you want to enable auto-acceptance.
Tap the Apply button to save the changes.
When auto-accept is enabled, Ebriza POS NEXT plays a sound notification when a new order is received.
After using either method, orders will be auto-accepted according to the preparation time set.
Q: How do I set the operating schedule (fixed opening hours) on Wolt?
A: As long as the store has a schedule set on the platform, it will open and close automatically according to that schedule — you do not need to turn it on and off manually from the POS every day. Manual stopping from the POS is only for exceptional situations when you want to temporarily close outside your regular schedule, and it will remain stopped until you restart it manually.
Q: I synced the menu but some products are missing in Wolt. Is the integration broken?
A: Most likely not. The sync sends exactly what is included in the product configuration you selected under Brand Settings → Sync menu — not your entire catalogue. If a product or category is not included in that configuration, it does not reach Wolt, even if the sync finishes without an error. Also, remember that newly created products are automatically added only to the default “Nomenclator” configuration, not to the one used for Wolt — they must be added manually there. If you have several brands, check the configuration for the specific brand. Detailed steps are available in the article “I synced the menu but some products are missing on the delivery platform.”
Q: I changed a product in Ebriza (photo, price, name) — will it update automatically on Wolt?
A: No. Changes made to a product in Ebriza are not automatically sent to Wolt. Run the menu synchronization from Apps → Wolt app → Brand Settings → Sync Menu for each brand where you want the change to appear. Marking the product as unavailable and then available again does not replace synchronization: that action only sends the product’s availability, not the photo or price.
See the article “I changed my products in Ebriza — are they updated automatically on delivery platforms?”.
Q: The integration was working until today, and now no orders are coming in from Wolt. What happened?
A: Most likely, the brand authorization on Wolt has expired. The configuration in Ebriza remains unchanged, but Wolt rejects communication, so orders no longer come in, statuses are not sent, and the store may remain closed on the platform. Reauthorize the brand from Apps → Wolt app → Brand Settings → “Integrate your brand with Wolt”. Orders will start coming in again as soon as the authorization is successful. For details, see the “3. AUTHORIZATION RENEWAL” section above and the article “Delivery platform orders are no longer coming in.”
