How to customize receipt templates - Ebriza POS NEXT

Configuring the appearance of non-fiscal receipts: messages, fonts, visual options

Written by Ionut

Receipt Template

You can customize the appearance of non-fiscal receipts issued from Ebriza POS NEXT through the Receipt templates option. This section allows you to add custom messages and change the font for each receipt type.

Where to find Receipt Template settings

  1. Open Ebriza POS.

  2. Go to Other (from the 4-line menu).

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Go to Printers and Devices > Receipt templates

Receipt types that can be customized

In the Receipt templates window, you can select one of the following types to customize: Payment note, Delivery, Preparation, Preparation cancellation.

How to add a custom message

For each receipt type, you have the following fields:

  • FOOTER — message appears at the bottom of the receipt (after total, before cutting). Useful for thanks, business hours, social links.

  • INFO EXTRA — message appears at the top of the receipt (under header, before order details). Useful for contact info, promotions.

Check the desired fields, enter the message, then Save.

How to change the font

In the same Receipt templates section, after selecting the receipt type, you can choose the desired font for that type.

Attention: Logo option

Even if the template includes a "Logo" option, it will not be printed on the payment note. Logo is not supported as a visual element on this receipt type. For other receipt types, verify individually whether the Logo option works as expected.

Images or graphics cannot be added to the payment note. The only customization option available is including a text message (FOOTER or INFO EXTRA).

Customer details on the ticket (name, phone number and delivery address)

Besides the messages and the font, each template also has options for the customer's data. Tick Customer details to print the customer's name on that type of ticket, and Phone number if you also want their phone.

On the order ticket (Preparation) and on the preparation cancellation ticket (Cancel preparation), with Customer details ticked, the customer's delivery address is printed as well – but only for delivery orders, including those the customer picks up from the venue. This helps in the kitchen, so you can group tickets by delivery route.

  • The address printed is the one marked as the delivery address in the customer's record. If the customer has no saved delivery address, nothing is printed – the ticket is not left with an empty line.

  • On table orders (which are not deliveries) only the name is printed, without the address.

  • If you have a Kitchen Display Screen connected, the address also appears on the ticket shown there.

  • The address is printed in short form: street and number, city and postal code. The county and the country are not printed. The same format is used on the fiscal receipt.

  • The delivery address is not printed on the bill, even if you have ticked Customer details. On a delivery order, the bill is the customer's copy, and they already know their own address.

Important: each ticket type has its own template, saved separately. If you tick Customer details on Preparation, the option is NOT applied automatically to Cancel preparation or to the other types – it has to be ticked on every template you want it on, and saved. On Bill, Preparation and Cancel preparation the option is unticked by default.

The address appears on the order ticket after you update the Ebriza POS app to the latest version.
