Glovo integration

How can I integrate online orders from my Glovo account with Ebriza.

Written by Andrei

The Glovo application is an integration with the Glovo platform that allows you to take over and manage your Glovo commands directly from your Ebriza POS, without having to use the Glovo tablet.

Note: In order to be able to use the integration with Glovo in our application, the contractual relationship with Glovo is required in advance.

1. CONFIGURATION:

2. PRODUCT CONFIGURATION

To establish a proper communication between the products and these two platforms, follow these steps:

  • Create a new configuration in Configuration section--> Product display, with the categories and products you want to appear on the Glovo platform.

Click here for more information on how to create a new configuration.

  • Attention: The new configuration for Glovo must be set to Inactive so that it does not appear in the Ebriza POS application on the tablet, where the products are marked locally.

IMPORTANT: For Glovo, the configuration must contain a main category, which contains all the other categories you want to have in Glovo. Click here to learn how to create a new category and how to add sub-categories to it.

EXTRA OPTIONS

If you offer extra options for certain products, or if you have packages that contain more than one product option (combos, menus, etc.), you need to configure them from Ebriza, Configuration section-Modifier tab , and they will appear in exactly the same way in Glovo.

If you do not know how to configure the modifiers, click here for details.

Example:

You have the product Pizza Margherita mica configured as a modifier - source product (see the article on creating modifiers), and to this you can add extra toppings, which you created as products in Ebriza and added as options to the modifier, but you don't want them to appear as separate products.

For this, you must have ONLY Pizza Margherita mica in the Product Display, because you have added the toppings in the modifier options and they will appear there automatically.

3. INTEGRATION

Before synchronizing products from Ebriza with your Glovo account, send us the integration request via the chat in your account or to support@ebriza.com. In order for us to forward the request to Glovo, we need all of the information below, provided together in the same message:

  • the platforms you want to integrate;

  • the brand name, exactly as it appears or will appear on Glovo — it may be different from the company or location name in Ebriza, and an approximate name will block the integration;

  • the order pickup address, meaning the location where the courier collects the order — one for each restaurant being integrated, not a single address for the entire account;

  • the delivery method, meaning who handles the delivery: Glovo's fleet or your own fleet;

  • the STORE ID (STORE ID Address) received from Glovo, for each restaurant.

The request cannot be sent to Glovo with only some of this information, so if anything is missing, we will ask you for the rest before proceeding. Send everything at once and the request will be processed faster.

Where to get the STORE ID

You can get the STORE ID from Glovo: from the restaurant's Glovo terminal or Glovo partner portal, or by asking your Glovo representative or contact person for it. Ebriza does not generate or derive it — there is no screen in Ebriza (Control Centre, POS, Marketplace, or app settings) where you can find it if you have not already received it from Glovo.

Do not confuse it with the CLIENT ID displayed in the Glovo app in your administration account, under Settings → Service Integration: this is a different value. In Ebriza, the STORE ID is simply entered as the brand key for the Glovo app, usually by the colleague handling the integration, and from there it is sent to Glovo with every menu synchronization and every status change. Without a correct STORE ID, the Glovo integration will not work: the menu will not synchronize, and no status will reach Glovo.

You can find the customer ID in the administration account. Access the Glovo application on the left and click on Service Integration. You can copy it from there.

How can I find out if the integration has been completed?

After you send us your request, the integration request is forwarded by the Ebriza team to the platform. Each request is sent separately to each platform and is monitored by a member of the Ebriza team — it is not an automated process.

The status of the request is not visible in your Ebriza account. The fact that the Glovo application is installed, that the brand appears under Brand Settings, or that a STORE ID has been saved only shows what has been completed in the account; it does not confirm that the integration has been completed on the platform’s side.

To find out the status of your request, contact us via the chat in your account or at support@ebriza.com and mention the platform for which you requested the integration. A member of the Ebriza team will check the status of your request and get back to you. We cannot provide a fixed timeframe, as the completion also depends on the platform.

4. SYNCHRONIZATION

  • Find the Glovo app in your Ebriza account, on the left, under Applications.

  • Access the application ->Brand Settings -> Sync menu

A window will open from where you need to select the configuration you created in Product Display, with all the products you want to appear in Glovo, then you can click the START SINC button.

Important remarks:

  • IMAGES FOR PRODUCTS: If your Ebriza products have images, they will also be imported into the Glovo platform. For details about uploading product images to Ebriza click here.

  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: If you want your products to have a short description on the Glovo platform, you can enter this description in the SHORT DESCRIPTION field on the detailed product editing page in Ebriza.

We recommend using the Alerts app in parallel with the Glovo app, especially the "API Order Failed" and "New Products Saved by API" options so you can be notified by email if an order couldn't be sent to Ebriza or command contains a product that is not configured in the Configuration section and requires verification. Click here to find out how to set up alerts.

6. AUTO-ACCEPT ORDERS

You can enable auto-acceptance of orders coming through the platform, so they go directly into "In preparation" status (not "New"), and the order receipt is sent automatically to the printer or Kitchen Display Screen.

This setting can be configured in two ways:

Setup from the Ebriza admin account

Available on any POS version:

  1. From your Ebriza admin account, open the platform app (Glovo / Bolt Food).

  2. Go to Brand Settings → Brand Settings and tick the option "Auto-accept orders".

  3. Set the estimated preparation time for orders.

  4. From the same place, go to Settings → Settings and tick the same "Auto-accept" option, using the same preparation time.

  5. Save the changes.

  6. Attention: when automatic order acceptance is enabled, the tablet does not play any sound in Ebriza POS when a new order is received.

Setup directly from Ebriza POS NEXT

Alternatively, on Ebriza POS NEXT, this setting can also be configured directly from the POS app, without accessing the web admin account:

  1. Open the Deliveries section in Ebriza POS NEXT.

  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen (the More menu).

  3. Select Auto-accept orders.

  4. Select the restaurants for which you want to enable auto-acceptance.

  5. Tap the Apply button to save the changes.

  6. When auto-accept is enabled, Ebriza POS NEXT plays a sound notification when a new order is received.

After using either method, orders will be auto-accepted according to the preparation time set.

Menu synchronization stops with an error — the issue is explicitly indicated in the error message, which identifies the category or product causing the problem. On Glovo, the cause is almost always the configuration structure: there must be a main category (e.g. “Glovo”) containing your categories, with the products inside those categories, and no category can be left empty — requirements that Bolt Food and Wolt do not have. See the article “Glovo menu synchronization stops with an error — check your product configuration structure”.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How can I create or manage a promotion on the delivery platform through Ebriza?

A: Promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns are managed exclusively from the delivery platform (the relevant platform's admin account — Glovo Partners, Bolt Food, etc.), NOT from Ebriza.

The platform will send the already-discounted prices to Ebriza, according to the discounts set there. In Ebriza, products should be saved at their full prices (optionally with a preferential price for the platform), without discounts — the discount is applied by the platform.

Q: Can I sync a marketing offer created in Ebriza to the delivery platform?

A: No. These campaigns are not managed from Ebriza. Changes are made directly from the platform's portal.

Notă pentru reviewer: Aceeași secțiune FAQ se adaugă în ambele articole; verifică wording-ul să fie consistent cu strategia internă privind diferența între „preț preferențial" și „promoție/discount".

Q: How do I set the operating schedule (fixed opening hours) on Glovo?

A: The operating schedule is set directly from the platform's administration account (Glovo Partners), not from Ebriza. From Ebriza, you can only manage temporary availability (open/closed at the moment) and unavailable products. To change your fixed operating hours, access your Glovo partner account and update the time intervals there.

As long as the store has a schedule set on the platform, it will open and close automatically according to that schedule — you do not need to turn it on and off manually from the POS every day. Manual stopping from the POS remains available for exceptional situations when you want to temporarily close outside your regular schedule, and it will stay closed until you restart it manually.

Q: Can I schedule an automatic closing time from Ebriza?

A: No. These settings must be configured directly from the platform's administration account.

Q: I synced the menu but some products are missing in Glovo. Is the integration broken?
A: Most likely not. The sync sends exactly what is included in the product configuration you selected under Brand Settings → Sync menu — not your entire catalogue. If a product or category is not included in that configuration, it does not reach Glovo, even if the sync finishes without an error. Also, remember that newly created products are automatically added only to the default “Nomenclator” configuration, not to the one used for Glovo — they must be added manually there. First, check the configuration under Configuration → Product display, add anything that is missing, and run the sync again. Detailed steps are available in the article I synced the menu but some products are missing on the delivery platform.”

Q: I changed a product in Ebriza (photo, price, name) — will it update automatically on Glovo?

A: No. Changes made to a product in Ebriza are not automatically sent to Glovo. Run the menu synchronization from Apps → Glovo app → Brand Settings → Sync Menu for each brand where you want the change to appear. Marking the product as unavailable and then available again does not replace synchronization: that action only sends the product’s availability, not the photo or price.
