Login in POS [Ebriza POS NEXT]

Here is a brief overview of how to log in to the Ebriza POS application.

You can now log in to the Ebriza POS application in three ways:

1. Log in with user

On the registration screen, stay on the With user tab and fill in your credentials - Company name, User, Password - then tap Register device.

This method does not generate any code. You do not receive a PIN and no QR code appears, so there is nothing that can expire and you do not need to generate anything again. If the registration fails, the cause is something else — see the frequently asked questions at the end of the article.

2. Log in with QR code

This method also requires a POS device that is already connected to the account: the QR code appears on the new device, and it is scanned using the camera of the device that is already connected.

3. Log in with PIN

The PIN is generated from an already connected device, in the Ebriza POS NEXT app — not from the admin account and not from the new device. On the already connected device, go to Devices → POS Devices on Network.

On the new device, tap the With QR tab, then tap the “other login methods” link (shown under the QR code: “Having trouble scanning? You can also use other login methods.”). You can then enter the PIN code.

Pairing with a QR code or PIN is the method used for a second POS running on another device, as well as for KDS (kitchen display) and CDS (customer display) applications. These do not have the “With user” tab, so they require an already connected POS device from which the code can be generated.

IMPORTANT: The PIN code expires after 5 minutes; if this time has passed, a new code must be generated. The 5-minute rule applies only to the PIN and QR code. It does not apply to login with user credentials (Company Name, Username, Password), where no code is generated.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: Can I install Ebriza POS on Windows / laptop / desktop?

A: No. The Ebriza POS application is compatible only with mobile devices running iOS 16 or newer (from the App Store). There is no Windows, macOS, or Linux version.

-----

Q: I have 2 POS licenses - can I install the second one on a Windows laptop?

A: No. Both licenses must be installed on compatible iOS mobile devices; each instance must run on such a device.

-----

Q: Where can I find the Devices section to generate the PIN? I don't see it in my admin account.
A: The Devices section exists only in the Ebriza POS NEXT app, on the tablet — not in the admin account at www.ebriza.com. It is not missing because of your permissions. Open the app on an already connected device and go to Devices → POS Devices on Network → Register a new device. You do not need a computer or browser.

Q: I am registering a new POS tablet using the company name, username, and password, and I receive a notification that blocks me. Do I need to generate a code first?

A: No. This login method does not generate any code, so there is nothing to expire and nothing to regenerate — the 5-minute rule applies only to the PIN or QR code. If the login credentials are correct, the most common reason for the registration being blocked is that all device licenses in the account are already in use. You can free up a license by deleting a device you no longer use: log in to the administration account at www.ebriza.com, go to the POS Devices section, and delete the respective device. Then retry the registration on the new tablet. From the same section, you can also purchase additional licenses if you want to use both devices at the same time. For details, see the article “Device Licenses [Ebriza POS NEXT]”.
